I have fond memories as a child riding my bike on from my Grandma's house down the Santa Ana River trail towards the beach. This trail that I grew-up riding on was recently named a National Recreational Trail by OC Parks.
A celebration will be held on May 31st at Yorba Regional Park where a sign announcing the trail's status will be revealed.
Bring the entire family out to run, walk or bike down this historic trail. The Santa Ana River Trail extends for 43 miles through San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange County.
OC Parks is pleased to announce that the Santa Ana River Regional Riding and Hiking Trail was recently named a National Recreational Trail. In honor of this recognition and in conjunction with the upcoming National Trails Day, a celebration will be held on May 31beginning at Yorba Regional Park.
