Homeless Children in Need of Donations in Orange County

Child currently living at Village of Hope
The Orange County Rescue Mission has an urgent need for items such as baby diapers and food for their youngest residents. Children who cannot fend for themselves are often the ones most affected by Orange County’s homeless problem. The Village of Hope and House of Hope, two of the Orange County Rescue Mission’s transitional living facilities, currently house more than 55 infants and small children from age 0-10.These children are the youngest and most helpless victims of homelessness in Orange County, and are in need of the most basic items from their community.

The Orange County Rescue Mission is asking the community to drop off urgently needed items at the Village of Hope, located at 1 Hope Drive in the city of Tustin, California.

Donations currently needed include:

  • Stage 1 Baby Food (6-12 months)
  • Pedialite and Similac formula
  • Diapers of all sizes and Pull ups
  • “Free and Clear” detergent for babies/sensitive skin
  •  Children’s multi vitamins, Tylenol, ibuprofen, cold medicine and lice kits
  • Basic bath towels and washcloths, single and crib sheet sets, pillows Underwear and socks
Thank you for helping to support The Orange County Rescue Mission.

  3. Hi Sonia, thank you so much for your interest in involvement with Orange County's Rescue Mission!! It is daunting to comprehend that this sweet girl and so many others like her could otherwise be out on the streets. In our 192 bed capacity, 39% of our residents are children aged 0-12 years. Please definitely feel welcome in visiting our Village of Hope Campus at 1 Hope Drive Tustin, CA 92782 or contact Ryan.Burris@rescuemission.org to get better connected. Thank you!
