Orange County Beach Cleanup for Children

One of the best gifts we can give our children teaching them how to care for our environment. I started bringing my children to beach cleanups when they were extremely young to help encourage them to care for our beaches. There are many beach cleanup organizations, but Save Our Beach is my favorite for bringing children. The founder, Kim Masoner, helps to give children a hands-on experience. She talks to the children, gets them excited about caring for our beaches, and is just a true inspiration to our entire community.

Save Our Beach has monthly cleanups on the third Saturday of the month from 9am to noon. This Saturday is the next event in Seal Beach. The cleanup starts at 9am in the beach parking lot at the end of 1st Street.

What to bring? Bring gloves, reusable grocery bags and a smile! See you there!
