The Orange County Rescue Mission has an immediate need, and is looking for families to host food drives to collect essential food items such as canned soups, vegetables, fruits and meats, as well as instant rice, crackers, boxed fruit juice, peanut butter, cereal, and other items with long shelf lives.
To assist in organizing drives, the Rescue Mission has an online Food Drive Kit which includes all the necessary information to run a drive, including announcements, posters, and a list of specific items needed.
