Summer is not yet over at The Discovery Science Center. The Wild Summer will continue until September 3rd. Last weekend Dr. Zoolittle from the San Diego Zoo made a stop at the cube to educate children about mammals.
Dr. Zoolittle got children (and parents) to eat bugs! It was an exciting and memorable part of the presentation.
The Santa Ana Zoo Mobile will be holding presentations on August 28th and 30th, at 1pm and 3pm. Children can meet an iguana, opossum, mallard duck, Amazon parrot, hedgehog and more during this fun interactive presentation.
Children can also explore the science behind what makes a mammal during a special weekend activity. While exploring fun facts, children can learn all about what makes animals exotic. During the weekend, there will also be animal adaptation learning stations where children can investigate the different adaptations of mammals.
While learning about mammals at the Discovery Science Center, enjoy the "A Game of Chance" stage show (only available during the weekend). Join Team Tiger or Team Rhino and earn points to win prizes while learning about endangered animals.
With every paid admission during Wild Summer guest will get....
