Free National Parks Day


The National Parks is encouraging families to get outside and enjoy the outdoors on Saturday, September 29th for National Public Lands Day. During this 19th annual event, visitors can enjoy free admission to any of the 397 national parks. Normally the National Parks charge an entrance fee ranging from $3 to $25.

Many people will lend a hand during National Public Lands Day where more than 170,000 people are expected to plant trees, clean watersheds, remove invasive plants, replace signs and more.
