Rosh Hashanah Children's Celebration

Bring your children to Pretend City on Monday, September 17th as they celebrate the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah. There will be a special story time with Engineer Ari as they read Engineer Ari and Rosh Hashanah Ride, by Deborah Bodin Cohen. Children will learn the important lesson about friendship and forgiveness during this special journey.

Children can also participate in learning about the cooking cultures of Rosh Hashanah Recipes. Children can "make" sweet treats at a special kiosk, which will highlight treats of the day.

For art children can make their own "good year" card to share with a special friend. Making a Shanah Tovah Card can be fun for children to make, and then send a good wish to someone special in their life.

When: Monday, September 17th
Where: Pretend City Children's Museum, 29 Hubble, Irvine
