Almost everyday we are getting notified of another Harvest Festival, and this one looks super fun! This harvest festival is history based for those parents looking for their children to get an education experience out of their next Halloween event.
The festival is focused on how the people got to California, where they came from, and how they moved around the state. The free program will include transportation talks by local historians, and old-time circus show, pony rides, a miniature railway, a bike safety rodeo, vintage fire engines, craft making and more.
The event is located at Rancho Los Alamitos, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has lush historic gardens and a historic barnyard dating from the early-mid 20th century.
The event Traveling Tales: California on the move will be on Sunday, October 28th from 12 to 4:30pm. Rancho Los Alamitos is located at 6400 Bixby Hill Road in Long Beach.
