Frankenweenie at the El Capitan Theatre


Over the weekend, my family and I, went to a prescreening of Frankenweenie at the El Capitan Theatre. The stop-motion movie captivated my children, and it was even more magical watching it in the historic El Capitan Theatre.


Disney and Tim Burton fans can also have a chance to watch this heartwarming tale at the El Capitan Theatre from October 5th though the 25th.

Want to see the movie before everyone else? There is going to be a special midnight screening of the film on Thursday, October 4th at the El Capitan Theatre. At the midnight screening, there will be a costume contest, surprises and more as the doors open starting at 11pm. Tickets are available by calling 800-DISNEY6.

Before the watching the movie Frankenweenie at the El Captian visitors will get an opportunity to experience an all-new Spark-Tacular Lighting and Effects curtain show! After the movie, there will be a display of original drawings and props from the making of the movie in the lobby of the El Capitan Theatre.



When: October 5th through October 25th
Where: The El Capitan Theatre, 6838 Hollywood Blvd.
Showtimes: 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 9:30pm
Tickets: Adults $16, Matinee Monday through Friday before 6pm $14, Children (3-11) Seniors (60+) $13 and VIP Admission $26. VIP Admission includes popcorn, soft drink, reserved seating and no wait lines.
