We finished up our Halloween activities down at SeaWorld for the last weekend of their Halloween Spooktacular weekend event. The weather was in the high 80's making it a perfect time to visit Sea World.
SeaWorld did an amazing job on the decorations throughout the park. Everything was bright and vibrant for young children, with colorful costume dressed sea creatures walking around the park. There were photo opportunities available with mermaids, sea princesses and more.
We started off the morning having Breakfast with Shamu. This was one of the most entertaining breakfasts that my kiddos ever had. Tyler was captivated by being so close to Shamu that he did not take one bite of his breakfast. The trainers talked to us about the animals, the mission at SeaWorld and how they care for the animals.
After breakfast we walked over to see the Shamu show. Our kids make the choice to not only sit in the soak zone, but in the front row!! Sitting in the front row comes along with some perks as they were asked to help with giving Shamu signals to jump and splash the audience. The kids walked away from the show soaked with giant smiles on their faces.
While we walked around the park enjoying the different animals, shows and exhibits there were treat stations where the kids could stop to trick-or-treat. They slowly filled up their treat bags as we spent the day at SeaWorld.
One of the neatest attractions at SeaWorld, was the flamingo encounter. The kids got to sit right next to a live flamingo, and they even got a few flamingo kisses.
The fun does not stop at SeaWorld now that Halloween is almost over. Animal encounters are happening daily for families to enjoy.
Disclosure: We were visiting San Diego as part of a media trip. Many of our expenses were not covered by us. All of our thoughts and opinions are of our own.
