Irvine Park Railroad's 17th Annual Christmas Train

The Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train has been a family tradition that we have been doing since our oldest was just a small baby. We have watched as the event has grown every year to have become one of the largest holiday family events to enjoy in Orange County.

The train will depart every 15 minutes taking children to the "North Pole" starting on November 30th. I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online, because they will sell out quickly. Online tickets are available starting on November 1st for $10 per person (complimentary for children under the age of 2).

Some of the activities will include:

  • Story Time with Mrs. Claus
  • Christmas Cookie Decorating
  • Carnival Games
  • Santa Claus Moon Bounce
  • Christmas Coloring Corner
  • Picture Stands

Once your family arrives at the "North Pole" there will be pictures with Santa, hot chocolate, fresh popcorn and cookies to be enjoyed. After spending time with Santa, the train will bring your family back to the train station through a magical tunnel of lights.

It can get super cold at the park at night, so remember to dress warmly and arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Purchase your tickets online for these specific dates starting on November 1st:
  • November 30th                       5pm to 8pm
  • December 1st and 2nd            5pm to 8pm
  • December 7th - 9th                 5pm to 8pm
  • December 14th                       5pm to 8pm
  • December 15th and 16th        2pm to 9pm
  • December 17th through 21st  4pm to 9pm
  • December 22nd and 23rd      2pm to 9pm
Parking is $3 per vehicle on weekdays and $5 per vehicle on weekends. Parking for the Christmas train is free at 5pm.
