While Melodi's family was off enjoying the holidays in Vegas, my family celebrated Christmas Eve at home. We had one of the best Christmas' ever spending time with close friends and family.
One of my favorite parts of this holiday was that I did not cook. Shocking..I know...but this holiday was about us spending time together - without Mom spending all her time in the kitchen. I got all my appetizers at Trader Joe's, and honestly everyone thought that they were homemade.
The kids started off their evening with a toast of apple cider before some of their favorite Orange County blogger friends came for dinner.
We had more than enough food with all the dishes coming from Lucille's and Daphne's. There was enough food for at least 100 people, so nobody walked away hungry.

Being a blogger in Orange County for many years has allowed me to develop lifelong friendships with other Orange County bloggers. Our friendships have gone beyond the blogs, and I was so lucky to have some of these great women celebrate Christmas with my family.

Did I mention the food? The food was utterly amazing...

Dinner would not be complete without dessert. Did you know that Yogurtland caters? Yup..they sure do!
The Yogurtland bar was the hit of the celebration, and kept the kids happy for the rest of the night.
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Eve too.
Disclosure: All of the food was provided by Daphne's, Lucille's and Yogurtland. All our thoughts and opinions are of my own.
